ABOUT US

In 1999, under the guidance of Miriam Hannah, a group of Framfield School parents and friends came together to investigate ways of raising funds for the school's PTA. Following much discussion, it was decided that a short pantomime would be the answer, and Miriam wrote 'Goldilocks Versus Red Riding Hood'.

This great success, enjoyed by all, was followed by another  panto the following year, complete with a host of new members who wanted to join in the fun.

And so, the Framfield Stagers were born!

Proceeds from our shows are usually shared between local charitable causes. In recent years we have made donations to organisations like the Framfield School  PTA, the Sussex Air Ambulance Service and the Framfield Memorial Hall Restoration Fund.

We continue to look for new members for stage appearances or for help behind the scenes. All that is required is a willingness to take part, a sense of humour and the ability to give up a little spare time in return for having great fun! Do get in touch if you would like more information on how to join us.
